Baby Juliet!

Last year Matt and I signed up for an extreme challenge, a challenge of EPIC Dave Ramsey proportions. It was crazy hard and we’re still on the long journey to being debt free. In the midst of weeks of classes at church we met some really sweet friends. Since then one of those friends, Brynn, had baby number 3! Juliet is here and she is LOVED! It was such a blessing to spend some time with their family, watching them love on their new little one.

Lindsay & Scott: Married!

Lindsay and Scott’s wedding was SO much fun! Everything was beautiful and the weather in La Quinta was gorgeous and not too hot! I have to thank a list of amazing vendors! Ashley with Agape Planning took such great care of us and kept everything on schedule (we love working with her.) The La Quinta Country Club was accommodating and kind and the grounds were beautiful! Lindsay’s bouquet was lovely thanks to Cachet Fiore. And this blog post would NOT be complete if I didn’t mention the live band, LA Soul Project! If I got married all over again I would hire this incredibly passionate group of musicians! They were amazing and played fantastic covers for all the guests!

As you’ll see in the photos Lindsay has a HUGE infectious smile! Cheesy, I know, but she SERIOUSLY lights up a room! And she makes Scott smile right along with her. They danced the night away with all of their family and friends and we had so much fun capturing it all! We can’t wait to see them later this summer at Krystle and Brian’s wedding!

Therese & David: ENGAGED!

We LOVE meeting clients through previous clients. Word of mouth, in our eyes, is the highest form of flattery. A few months back we got to shoot Jasmine and David’s wedding and Therese and David are connected to them in more ways than one. They all share a love for all things Disney, they all love/work/worked at In-N-Out and they love us! YEAH! We are so excited for David and Therese’s wedding this fall. Riley, C’mon!

Riley Jack, you’re almost a year old and you melt our hearts. I listened to all the crying babies at church on Easter and all I could think about was what an angel baby you have been. You rarely cry and you smile OFTEN. Your laugh sounds like it is suffocating you and you eat everything! Your ginormous head is still only covered in peach fuzz but we like it because it gives you such a baby quality, it keeps you young. Your sister tackles you and smothers you and while it terrifies me and daddy it makes you laugh and squeal and we thank God for that because I’m sure that attribute will serve you well in life. Riley, you are number two. You have a baby book that is nearly empty compared to your sister’s and there are far less blog posts about you and you alone but please know that we love you. We adore you, and rather than pick up a pen or a camera at times I would just prefer to pick you up and give you a squeeze! Oh, I almost forgot you headbutt the people that you love and you just started to give these uh-mazing open mouth kisses. We love you, buddy, and it’s such a blessing to be your parents.

Easter Fun 2012

Isn’t parenting awesome!? I mean the hilarity that this image brings me make it’s all worth it. This was the ONLY photo we got in which Charlotte was actually sitting next to the bunny. In all the others she was wandering around pretending not to see him. Of course, Riley is oblivious and happy as a clam. So, obviously the visit to the Easter Bunny wasn’t so much fun but the rest of our Easter festivities went pretty well!

We colored eggs as a family and Charlotte thought it was magical, so that was rad.

And then we enjoyed three different egg hunts on Easter. Please enjoy the ridiculously frilly dress, courtesy of Namaw.
