A few weeks ago Molly and I took a ride up the California coast to Santa Barbara and had the pleasure of shooting a session with Janelle and Marcos and their cute little daughter Jaylen. We had a blast shooting at the mission and a nearby park. We are super excited and looking forward to shooting their wedding next month.

Matt and I have been so incredibly lucky these last few years. I don't know where they all came from, but it seems as though out of the woodwork (or the twitter-verse) we have been overwhelmed with amazing new friends. I think the coolest thing about it is that when Matt and I were first married we were praying for awesome married couples to walk with us through life. Couples to encourage our young marriage and support us. Our hope of course is that we can be that same kind of couple to our friends and to our clients. It's our opinion that it is really important in your marriage and life to have brutally honest love & support. Julie and Chad have been one of those couples for us. We bonded over some In-N-Out cheeseburgers and we see each other sporadically. But when we do it is always fun and I always leave their presence feeling rejuvenated.
Julie and Chad, we love you guys and look forward to remaining friends through all the ups and downs that this life will throw at us. We think you're both so awesome! We hope you like the photos :)

Chad:
Amazing! Blown away! You really captured our personalities, you guys are amazing and we're blessed to be friends with you guys. Can't wait to see the rest!

We'd like to welcome David Clinton IV to the blog-o-sphere! We shot Robyn and David's wedding back in 2009 and we were so excited to hear that they were expecting their first little one! I followed Robyn's growing belly through her posts on Facebook and I was so excited to see all the beautiful photos they posted of David's birth story. Since they got married they have moved to Utah and so we patiently waited for them to come visit at Christmas! Davey (as I like to call him) is absolutely precious! My favorite thing about him, by far, is his bright red hair and the fact that he looks like one of the Peanuts gang. Robyn was a super woman and gave birth at home and David was the rockstar daddy-deliverer! We had so much fun spending time with them and we can't wait to see them all again!

It's not too late to celebrate a little Christmas cheer right? I'm so grateful for our little family and the times we get to share together. As our family grows I learn to appreciate life more and more. Even though Charlotte won't remember her 2nd Christmas it was such a joy for us to see her have a blast with "helping" to put up the decorations and opening gifts Christmas morning. Here's to a new year as our family grows to an even number of 2 males and 2 females!
