Within the span of our nearly 8 years as a business we’ve been so blessed to watch families grow. There are some clients that always feel like family and the Malms have always felt that way to us. I worked with Sam long ago at Islands and we always had a blast waitressing side by side and chowing down on cheese fries. Matt and I photographed their wedding our first year of business and then got to see them at a bunch of points along the way. They are a military family, with Tyler serving our country all over the world so we don’t see them as much as we’d like to… but when new babies and weddings come around our paths usually cross and we love to catch up and hug all of them. Our business has been such a beautiful thing for our lives, our marriage and our family. We are so blessed to spend time with other families and couples and be encouraged to always continue on! We love you Malms and as always, thank you Tyler for bravely serving our country!!

Logan Daniel, I’ve only known you for a bit but I’m so thrilled to be a part of your life. I love your mama and daddy and I love you. I can’t wait to watch you grow! Thanks for being such a stud for your newborn pictures. I’m sure I’ll shove a camera in your face for the foreseeable future. xoxo, Auntie Molly

Shooting weddings is an intimate privilege. To be practical strangers when some of our clients meet us and to be able to capture something so meaningful to them and to the start of their lives together… it’s pretty awesome. There’s only one thing that comes to mind that trumps the intimacy of a wedding day… live birth!!! I know, I know, it freaks some people out and I get it. But I love it. To be a fly on the wall, wielding a camera while someone pushes a baby into the world?! CRAZYTOWN! It’s a miracle and I want to witness as many of them as I can. When our dear friends Brad and Kara allowed me to document this I was thrilled. It was a long day filled with reading and photographing and chats with Dan but it was worth every second to see Kara labor and birth their first son! Logan is beautiful and even though he made things a little tricky with his entrance he’s here and he’s perfect! Yay for babies!!!!
