Jackie and Scott were married at the beautiful, McCormick Home Ranch in Camarillo. I’ve said it before but it is always so fun to wander new grounds and find some fun spots to shoot! The grounds of the ranch were unbelievable and filled with adorable little nooks and crannies. We are so blessed to photograph families. Years ago we got the opportunity to shoot Jackie’s sister’s wedding. Rochelle and Andy found us at the beginning of our journey as wedding photographers and we were so excited to hug them and meet their precious baby boy! Watching families grow is such a joy! It was an emotional day… Since we had last seen their family the girls have lost their mom. The sisters were so strong all day and it was so beautiful to see them support each other and be strong for their two younger sisters and dad. Again, it’s such an honor for people to invite us in to something so intimate. There were so many precious moments. Rochelle was the Matron of Honor and sweetly spoke into Jackie the things her mama would have told her if she had been there. (I cried, who wouldn’t?) It was a day of celebration despite the spots of obvious loss. Jackie and Scott are so good together. They are strong for each other and make each other laugh like crazy. I just love love love my job. God is good and he works all things together for the good of those who love Him. The strength and beauty woven throughout the day was such a blessing to me. Thank you Jackie and Scott for allowing us to capture your BIG day! I hope we gave you some timeless images to remember your day. xo.
